If never properly addressed, these types of injuries will result in underlying damage to the upper neck. This damage can then lead to dysfunction in the ears, which is the body’s balancing system.

The area impacted first by these problems is the brain stem area – the part of the brain that extends down into the spine and connects to the spinal cord. The brain stem is key to the balance of our bodies.

In our office, we take extremely precise x-rays of the head and neck to determine the severity of the type of spinal misalignment that may be occurring and contributing to the cause of an individual’s vertigo.
